Product Description

These hen saddles are an essential accessory for any hobby farmer or poultry enthusiast in Australia. They are specifically designed to sit securely on a hen’s back, covering the areas most vulnerable to damage from roosters or dominant flock members. By providing a protective barrier, these saddles help prevent painful “treading” injuries and stop existing wounds from being pecked by other birds.

The aprons are particularly useful for rescuing hens with existing feather loss, allowing them to heal while still being part of the flock. The cute pineapple print and decorative ruffles add a touch of personality to your coop while serving a vital functional purpose. Each apron measures approximately 22cm by 23cm, making them suitable for most standard-sized chicken breeds.
